Counterfeit Gods: Lord More
Brad Brinson
Worship is defined by three things: (1) Love, (2) Trust and (3) Obedience.
Zacchaeus worshipped 'more.'
-He was infatuated with the idea of getting more.
-He trusted ‘more’ would fulfill him and make him safe.
-He gave his life away to pursuing ‘more.’
Sadly, 'Lord More' is a Counterfeit God.
This week we will expose the most popular false god in our society, 'Lord More.'

"I don't chant before statues."
"I don't worship idols."
But here's a fact: All sin begins with some form of idolatry.
This week will begin the adventure of clearing our lives of false unreliable gods as we kick off the message series entitled: 'Counterfeit Gods.'

If we let Rehoboam pay our dumb tax we should enjoy many benefits at his expense.
