Facilities Volunteer Opportunities

 

Replace damaged ceiling tiles – As needed with job holder checking tile conditions monthly.

Keep roof covering clean – At least monthly to help avoid penetrations of roof covering.

Computer – Occasional jobs like finding out why our computer dedicated to the chimes looses track of days. Similar problem with light timers.

Locks – Door locks break down now and then.

Appliance Repair – Kitchen stuff mostly.

Elevator Repair – Lift to the stage is not working properly.

Plumbing – Automatic flusher problems, clogs, work on water heaters, etc.

Flooring – Replacing tiles that get broken.

HVAC – Someone trained in this field enough to do periodic inspections to warn ahead of time when to call in our HVAC contractor and to inspect after work is done to assure done properly.

Thermostats – We need people to inspect stats and adjust them as needed.

General – Hanging stuff on walls, light carpentry, skilled finish carpentry, general mechanical work.
