If so, check out Family Time!
Having trouble connecting with your kids and engaging them in real faith conversations?
Do old-time devotionals seem lame, forced or awkward?
Is family Bible time the worst 20 minutes of your week?
Are you having a hard time figuring out how to go about addressing faith issues with your kids?
What is Family Time?
Just what it says, a time for your family to do something together. It’s a fun, sometimes goofy faith based activity for the entire family - an opportunity for you to have fun with your kids and talk about your faith in an easy, non-threatening way.
How does it work?
We provide you with two activity kits per month with step by step instructions showing you how to lead the week’s activity – such as wrapping a family member Lazarus-style in toilet paper. You gather your family and do the activity, laugh, have some fun and have a conversation about the premise for the activity.
We also coordinate monthly gatherings (with free food and childcare) with other participating parents so that you can discuss your experiences and share ideas about leading your families in through this process.
Will my kids really like this?
We think so. See for yourself and take a look at the video of one of our own 2RC families doing Family Time:
Testimonials
Or, see what members of our test group said after doing several months of activities with their families:
"It is a great tool to grow our children in Christ, and it fits our busy lifestyle. We have grown closer together. We have little inside jokes/stories throughout the week to refer back to the lesson." – Scott Campen
"It helped to further establish me (Dad) as the spiritual head of the family. My wife typically does the devotions during the day with the kids, so this was something great for me to lead my family... The Kits were great-complete, with all the info and items included – makes it so easy." – Adam Kuhn
“The activities were great and kept our kids engaged and eager to learn. We loved every aspect of it.
We watched our kids blossom and become more comfortable in talking about how Jesus has loved them and how His love impacts each other. We have become much more comfortable even praying together.” – Kelley Hart
"It opened up great conversations, fun dances, wonderful memories. LOVE, LOVE having the ENTIRE bag! A must!" – Allison Dodson
"The meetings were beneficial for accountability and feeling of community (we’re in this together.)" – Dawn McGuire
