Purpose & Vision:
As the leadership of Two Rivers Church prayed about how we as a church could carry out the Great Commission, we were led to the country of Guatemala. To better impact and serve the people of Guatemala, we have partnered with Pastor David Alvarez, Dr. Tito Placidos, and Mike and Karen Rhea. By partnering with these ministries, we are able to send teams several times a year to help with medical trips to remote areas and to minister to hundreds of children in need through the feeding program. It is our prayers that through the children’s feeding program, English lessons and medical teams that the people in Guatemala would be touched by the love of Jesus to raise up a new generation for Christ.
Easter Joy Project
Team Guatemala is inviting the parents, children and students at Two Rivers to assist in providing the Joy of Easter and families of our sister church, CCG in Guatemala. Our Children and students will be decorating paper bags which will be filled with toy, school supplies, hygiene items, candy and a Spanish Bible or story book. We invite you to participate by assisting your child or student and/or providing items for the bags, Information is available at the Guatemala table in the lobby.
Testimonies:
One of the most memorable parts of the trip was meeting and spending time with Pastor David from our sister church in Guatemala City, CCCG. I have never met anyone who has such incredible faith and a true servant’s heart. He is helping hundreds of children and families in Guatemala on a shoestring budget because he totally trusts God and walks in faith.

I guess the part of the trip that impressed me the most was how happy the kids we met were. These kids who had absolutely nothing were completely thrilled just to see us. We gave out jump ropes and soccer balls, and you’d think we were giving them video games and stereos.
