In a world devoted to ‘best practices’ it is remarkable that one ‘best practice’ that Jesus both engaged in personally and assumed His disciples would employ, is all but forgotten today. Fasting is likely the least utilized ‘best practice’ of the Christian life… even though Jesus explained that a lack of fasting results in spiritual anemia. Night of Focused Prayer
