Our desire is that you would get connected with us! We hope this site helps answer any questions you may have about our ministry!
Our Mission
fu·el
(fyoo-uhl) - a material used to produce heat or power; a source of
sustenance; to support or stimulate the activity or existence of.
We exist to introduce and grow students in authentic relationships with God and each other. Hebrews 10:23-25 tells us clearly that we should gather together and encourage and spur one another on toward love and good deeds. We stay busy with so many things that often we feel like we’re running on empty. FUEL is a place where you can come and have your “tank” filled by connecting with friends, being challenged and grown by God’s Word, and have a place that you can just be yourself.
What we’ve got cookin’…
FUEL
is our large group meeting at The Shed, which is on our church property on
Harrison Lane at Dixie Lee Junction. This is a great place where students
can hang with friends, both old and new, for a weekly evening of laughter,
games,
worship, and relevant teaching. FUEL meets from 6:30-8:15(ish) –
with a time to enjoy dinner from 6-7 and our program from 7:15-8:15. Don’t
worry if you can’t come for dinner, we’ll see you at around 7!
For a great opportunity to connect with other students and grow more deeply in your faith we have IGNITE Groups (Small Groups) which meet in various homes primarily on Sunday nights.
In addition to IGNITE
Groups, we also have a student leadership team (CORE) that is a
great place for students to be poured into and grown in their faith and
leadership gifts.
A few other activities throughout the year may include...Retreats, Ski/snowboard Trip, Spiritual Disciplines Retreat, domestic and international Summer Mission Projects, Worship Events, Community Outreach Activities, and Service Projects.
