Prayer Ministry
Two Rivers Church was founded by prayer, and prayer ministry is at the very core of what we do. It is from a foundation of prayer that we link the two arms of our mission statement – “Passion for God and compassion for people.”  There are many venues through which you can receive prayer support at Two Rivers. Growth groups provide a safe place in which you can build meaningful relationships and where you can both receive prayer ministry as well as pray for others. There are also many other men’s and women’s groups at Two Rivers that are always open and available to pray for you. Two Rivers Church Staff and Elders are also available and willing to pray for you and your family as well.

In addition to these venues, there are two formal groups dedicated to interceding for our members and our community. The Well, led by Bruce and Robyn Wagner, meets every Monday evening (7-9 pm) in the River Room.  Come join us for prayer and live worship as we come into the Lord's presence, listen to His voice, and pray for what He puts on our hearts.  Everyone is welcome.

The Prayer Ministry Team, led by Tom and Bonnie Ashwood, meets every Wednesday night (7-9 pm) in the Prayer Chapel. This faithful group of prayer warriors are called to minister to individuals through prayer. Both members and non-members (Including non-believers) are welcome. If you suffering in some way or just feel a need to seek the Lord on any topic, we want to pray with you. You can contact our team by calling Tom or Bonnie, calling the church office or filling out a prayer request card and dropping it into the offering box. This team is also available to pray with individuals after each service on Sunday mornings. Training to become involved with the prayer ministry team is also available through workshops provided several times a year.

The Sunday Morning Prayer Team is a great jumping in place to become involved in prayer at Two Rivers! This is an open team and is available to everyone who would like to join us at 8:30 each Sunday morning in the Prayer Chapel to pray with Pastor Brad and the worship team. It is a time of praying for each area of ministry that happens on Sundays, from our Children’s and Middle School ministries to the worship service in the main auditorium. We also spend time praying for Brad and for the worship team as well, asking the Lord to lead us by His Spirit to all He wants to accomplish that day. If you are interested in joining us on Sunday mornings you are welcome to contact Danny Matthews at the church office or just come by the Prayer Chapel at 8:30.
